FAQ

Here are a list of frequently asked questions. If you can't see what you're looking for, please contact Angela directly ange.southam@outlook.com

How does a two week program work?

I will send you an intake form and gather all the information I need to know about your family and your sleep goals. I will assess your sleep environment, routines, schedules and provide a personalised sleep program written just for you. For the time we work together, we can have daily contact regarding your baby or child's sleep. Contact can be talking on the phone, email or via text. When we finish our program, I will provide you with information on what you can expect as your child grows.

How does a home visit work?

As above, I will send you an intake form and gather all the information I need to know about your family and your sleep goals. I will assess your sleep environment, routines, schedules and provide a personalised sleep program written just for you. I will then visit for the evening to help you during the first night of sleep training and leave when baby is asleep. When we finish our program, I will provide you with information on what you can expect as your child grows.

What ages do you work with?

I am certified to work with newborns to children up to 5 years old. We don't sleep train newborns, this would be more looking at sleep environment, naps, feeding and nice gentle settling techniques to get baby sleeping well.

Is sleep training "Crying it out"?

No, it doesn't have to be. I prefer to reccommend different methods to start with. These methods usually involve a parent in the room with the baby or child. We can assess together which method would be most appropriate for your child.

Will this work for my child?

If you are consistent and dedicated to the program, you will see results within days. Whilst I cannot guarantee your child will sleep through every night (everyone wakes up at night, even adults), you WILL see results if you're committed to the plan.

Can I still feed my baby at night?

Absolutely. Sleep training is not night weaning. For babies who still need a night feed, this will be included in your plan. I can provide gentle weaning advice for when baby is ready to drop night feeds.

How do we get started?

You can book directly via my packages page or send me an email ange.southam@outlook.com if you have further questions. Once you have paid I will make contact and send you an intake form.

What happens if my child gets sick?

We can postpone your program to another date.
